I am a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of California and have experience working with children, teens, and adults. My goal is to provide a safe, warm, and nonjudgemental space for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences.  Therapy is one of the best places to talk about some of the most difficult things we feel we cannot talk about anywhere else. Sometimes you just need a safe place and person to be able to talk to and work things out when you feel there’s nowhere else to turn.

Throughout life we have experiences that can lead us to struggle with difficult feelings that interfere with how we want to live our lives. We can have difficulty in our relationships with others, feel unsure about who we are or what we want, or feel stuck and find it difficult to move forward in life. People typically seek out therapy to address these issues in order to feel happier, live a more fulfilled life, or feel better in the relationships they have with others.  Therapy can help you develop a better understanding of yourself, understand why you feel how you feel, learn how to cope with difficult or overwhelming feelings, and how to move forward.  However, therapy is as unique as each person. I strive to get to know each client and work with you to figure out what your goals are and the best way to reach those goals based on your personality and needs.

I have worked with people who have had traumatic experiences in their lives, people who struggle with mood disorders such as depression or anxiety, and people who are having difficulty in their relationships.  It is important for me to understand your cultural background, what you are struggling with, and your goals.  I work collaboratively with my clients to figure out what the best course of action is.

I know that reaching out to start therapy can sometimes be the toughest hurdle.  It is important to me that my clients feel comfortable and that we are a good match.
